Dear Terence,

Paul and I, as well as all the members of our extended family, want to thank
you for the most delicious BBQ food we have ever tasted!  Every bite was
scrumptious, moist and tender, and flavored and seasoned expertly.  We
couldn't have asked for a better feast to help us celebrate my Dad's 80th
birthday.  The leftovers a couple of days later during our family reunion
were just as yummy!

Terence, words cannot express how thankful we are that you were so willing
to listen to us and help us when plans for our big Pig Roast changed.  When
we told you our big gathering evolved for a number of reasons to a small
gathering of 14 immediate family members, you readily agreed to offer us an
alternative meal plan.  We could not have been happier to have the

on the platter was worth savoring - the chicken, the ribs, the beef brisket,
even the potatoes and squash were extraordinary.

To ensure that your meat is cooked in complete safety, our pig roasters have consistent temperature throughout the cooking period. We test the meat with a digital thermometer on a regular basis to ensure that the pig is thoroughly cooked before carving and serving. From start to finish, we are committed to providing excellent service and quality.

The mobile pig roaster is portable, and secure which makes it practical and easy to use. This is ideal if you are considering hosting your Pig Roast in your back yard, or a place of business.

We request and require a 50% deposit to secure all pig roast bookings. This is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. We have our pig roasts, rain or shine or snow. The balance is payable 15 days before the event. Payment may be made on line using 'Paypal' or by checks made payable to 'avermonter enterprises'.

There are no hidden costs associated with our service. The prices advertised form the basic packages listed below..

We can quote for further catering options such as the smoker, or gas barbecue on a per head basis. We also offer the provision of cutlery, Vermont salads and desserts at excellent rates.

We may choose to rent out our equipment, call for information about this. We believe however, that our pricing is very competitive and the provision of a full service pig roasting package offers you peace of mind and a relaxing, enjoyable event.

To Whom It May Concern:
On September 9, 2006, we hosted a Pig Roast. The pig was roasted by Terence Lernihan of Rutland, Vermont. We first contacted Terence in August to check availability, fees, procedures, etc. From the first phone conversation to the very end of the party, Terence was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. This was our first Pig Roast and we knew next to nothing about such. Terence answered all of our questions in a professional manner with a showing that there was a sense of humor within. As promised, Terence arrived on time, with a smile. Terence kept reassuring me that we would not be disappointed. Through out the day Terence and his assistant, Brian, roasted our pig to perfection! The pig was done right on time, and it was delicious! I heard comments from every single guest that this was no ordinary Pig Roast. The pig was not dry, it was moist, the flavor was wonderful, and the presentation was superb. Terence carved the pig for several hours, all the while, a smile on his face, talking to guests, answering questions. We could tell that this is a passion of his, which he takes very seriously. We will not hesitate calling Terence in the future.
