Vermont Pig Roasts, by aVermonter Enterprises,..along with, ...or in replace of a first class Pig Roast, we offer Traditional Texas style briskets of beef that melt in your mouth, smoked and slowly cooked, Pork and or Beef Rack of Ribs, Racks of Lamb like you have never tasted, Chickens, moist and tender, hamburgers, hot dogs, seafood and succulent shrimp dishes.

Whether you're planning to host a special event for a large group of people such as a wedding reception, or perhaps a gathering of friends or business colleagues, then you should consider featuring a pig roast. Picture the image in your mind of a slow roasted pig cooked to perfection, seasoned with Vermont Maple Syrup, and our secret special seasonings and spices right before your eyes. Rest assured that the pigs selected for our pig roasts are all from Vermont, and bred for their outstanding taste.

The Vermont pig is slowly cooking, your friends and family have arrived, the sweet smell of the meat cooking, finally you have all the ingredients together for a mouthwatering event that will last in their minds,....a lifetime!
To ensure that your meat is cooked in complete safety, our pig roasters are powered by an electrical rotisserie over a large bed of charcoals which provides a safe, consistent temperature throughout the cooking period. We test the meat with a digital thermometer on a regular basis to ensure that the pig is thoroughly cooked before carving and serving. From start to finish, we are committed to providing excellent service and quality.
The mobile pig roaster is portable, and secure which makes it practical and easy to use. This is ideal if you are considering hosting your Pig Roast in your back yard, or a place of business.
The first 20 miles of the delivery are free of charge and subsequent mileage is charged at $50 cents per mile. We request and require a 50% deposit to secure all pig roast bookings. This is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. We have our pig roasts, rain or shine or snow. The balance is payable 15 days before the event. Payment may be made on line using 'Paypal' or by checks made payable to 'avermonter enterprises'.
There are no hidden costs associated with our service. The prices advertised form the basic packages listed below..
We can quote for further catering options such as the smoker, or gas barbecue on a per head basis. We also offer the provision of cutlery, Vermont salads and desserts at excellent rates.
We may choose to rent out our equipment, call for information about this. We believe however, that our pricing is very competitive and the provision of a full service pig roasting package offers you peace of mind and a relaxing, enjoyable event.

Vermont Pig Roast Packages Package 1 - You supply the pig, we come to your place and cook it to perfection. $475 plus mileage Package 2 - We supply the pig, come to your place and cook it before your eyes to perfection. $475 plus the price of the pig and mileage. Package 3 - You supply the pig and deliver it to us, we cook the pig at our place of business and deliver it fresh to you. $475 plus mileage. Package 4 - We cook the pig at our place of business and deliver it fresh to you. $450 plus the price of the pig and mileage. *Pig may be cooked with or without the head on. Let us know which way you prefer. * All Packages listed above includes 2 hours carving time, and fresh fruits for display to dress up your pig. Mileage charge is 50 cents a mile. * We use only the finest Vermont ingredients, Vermont pigs, and pure Vermont Maple Syrup for your pig roast. *The cost of the pig, if you purchase it through us, field dressed, marinated the night before for your pig roast, (depending on the market) is $3.50 a pound if the pig is less then 125 pounds, and $3.00 per pound if the pig is over 125 pounds. |

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the great job you did for our wedding. It has been a little over a month and people are still talking about how great the pig was. Thank you for happily working with us through the multiple changes to our plans and providing a great meal. Everything was done to perfection and ready right when you told us it would be. To Whom It May Concern:
On September 9, 2006, we hosted a Pig Roast. The pig was roasted by
Terence Lernihan of Rutland, Vermont. We first contacted Terence in
August to check availability, fees, procedures, etc. From the first
phone conversation to the very end of the party, Terence was personable,
knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. This was our first Pig Roast and
we knew next to nothing about such. Terence answered all of our questions
in a professional manner with a showing that there was a sense of humor
within. As promised, Terence arrived on time, with a smile. Terence
kept reassuring me that we would not be disappointed. Through out the
day Terence and his assistant, Brian, roasted our pig to perfection!
The pig was done right on time, and it was delicious! I heard comments
from every single guest that this was no ordinary Pig Roast. The pig
was not dry, it was moist, the flavor was wonderful, and the presentation
was superb. Terence carved the pig for several hours, all the while,
a smile on his face, talking to guests, answering questions. We could
tell that this is a passion of his, which he takes very seriously. We
will not hesitate calling Terence in the future.

Frank and I want to thank you for the fabulous pig roast for Frank's Birthday party. Our family and guests were so delighted with how delicious the pig was and how delicious the chicken was as well. Our guests were pulling up chairs to watch you cook! It was its own kind of entertainment! The presentation of the pig was wonderful with the pig on center stage surrounded by fresh fruit. We appreciated your easy interaction with our guests too and the tastes given to the kibbitzers. Two weekends later we went to another pig roast which wasn't bad but really didn't hold a candle to the one you prepared. It just pointed out to us what a great job you did. We had leftover last week and they were delicious. As you know, I found your name on the internet and then had some sleepless nights worrying about how things would turn out. Well, they turned out beautifully! We would be happy to let anyone know what a great job you do. You helped make the day very special for us all.
